Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush, an American pop boy band was formed in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009, they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's TV show Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28, 2009, to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush", the group's debut single as a promotional track. The band released three studio albums, BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011 as well as 24/Seven in 2013. The group in 2014 stopped performing for an indefinite period which lasted until 2021. The group then returned to live performances and then released "Call it Like I See It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a recording deal in 2009, concurrently with the television series, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon later partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to produce the series and provide new music. For the show, their first single, "Big Time Rush" was released on the 29th, 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon the series first shown in the U.S. in November 2009 up until the time it was made available worldwide. The song was played in a preview of the series for one hour and serves as the current show's opening tune. The show also saw release of promotional singles such as "City is Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also performed a Play song titled "Famous". The track was released to iTunes on June 29th the 29th of June, 2010. Another song, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes on April 27, 2010, following its debut in the series. The band quickly made it their first charting single on the Billboard Hot 100. It was ranked at 93 thanks to the digital sales. Big Time Rush's second single, "Till You Forget About You", was released on the 21st of September on the 21st of September. The song was released to promote the release of their debut album. The album, BTR came out on the 11th of October on the 11th of October, 2010, a day after the album's release. The album climbed to number 3 on Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies within the first week.
