Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6, 1988.
She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the
contracting firm, Stone Contracting. Stone is of Swedish, German and British
Isles descent. Stone began her acting career in her early years as a member of
the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in
a production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". She was
in a variety of productions during her early teens until, at the age of
fifteen, she made the choice to make acting her career. According to the
official account she presented her PowerPoint slide show sponsored by Madonna's
Hollywood and was dubbed "Project Hollywood" in an attempt to
convince her parents to allow her to leave school and relocate to Los Angeles.
After the pitch was accepted, the couple moved to LA. She continued her
education at home, while auditioning. Her TV debut was when she was cast as
Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family
(2004). This led to several small TV performances over the course of the years.
After several performances that were successful, she was able to play the role
of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her fame as Olive in Easy A (2010) followed by a
series of roles. She attended Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona.
Although she's known as redhead, her actual hair shade is blonde. Judd Apatow
was the one who suggested she change her hair's color for Superbad (2007). The
film was so well-received , she decided to keep it. At the age of 15, she
convinced her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood through the PowerPoint
presentation appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She began acting at the
age of 11 years old at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here, she starred on
over 16 stages and also took part in the theatre's comedy improv group. Caylee
Cowan also performed in the Valley Youth Theatre.
